Firstly, I’m calling it a cozy season because we don’t experience winter here in the pearl of Africa(Uganda) but we do experience cozy weather i.e cloudy with a bit of rain here and there add a sprinkle of wind, and voila!
Secondly, with the end of hot afternoons and the beginning of cold-ish weather comes a shift in wardrobe and I’m here to guide you on that!

So let’s get right into it with…
1. A cute knit Cropped sweater
Let me just tell you, I’m a crop top addict. I have them in different variations and I want more. That is why my very first recommendation to you is to get one. Crop tops are literally the most versatile tops you can have because they go with everything from skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts, lingerie. Need I say more? This particular one would go really cute with baggy jeans and a pair of old-school converse, simple and cute, right?
I think fluffy hoodies should be the universal symbol of cozy fashion. This is fundamental! I mean if I could have a fluffy hoodie, I would have it in like 5 different colors and sizes. This is the perfect hoodie to go do errands or just chill with Netflix at home. Like you will literally look cozy while actually being cozy, there's nothing better than that.
Now this one is for my friends who aren’t a fan of the fluffy hoodie. This is for the too-cool-for-fluff guys out there.
This is such a cool piece to have in your closet whether you are a chick or dude. This hoodie allows you to rock an easy streetwear look without having to try hard. Honestly, pair this hoodie with cargo pants, or jeans, or shorts even try it with a mini skirt if you want. These types of hoodies can do you no wrong
I know you are wondering why this is on this list but miniskirts are not only meant for summer. You can rock a cute mini skirt with a sweatshirt or graphic hoodie…..*wink**wink*. If your worry is freezing your legs, you can always put on a pair of stockings under or even go the cute preppy way with high knee socks instead.
Gentlemen, I present to you the everyday pants for the cool guy. I mean if you are vibing with dark academia aesthetic, I’m sure these pants plus a short sleeve shirt and sweatshirt can be a great look. Even if you want to go streetwear, you can pair your pants with a graphic t-shirt or hoodie
Of course, we had to put flare pants in this list, it would be a crime not to. Flare pants are the best thing out of the 70’s fashion era besides Afros and Crop tops.
Flare pants would be my uniform for the cozy season if I owned enough pairs and guess what they would have a different crop top to go with every day!
If you aren’t a bonafide crop top lover, don’t worry, flare pants go well with Sweatshirts, Hoodies, and T-shirts too!
7. Cargo pants
You say cozy season, I say “Cargo Pants’. I love cargo pants because I don’t need a bag when I have that many pockets. Not only that, they can be dressed down or up depending on the mood. Want to go for lunch with the babes? Wear it with a cute cropped sweater and stilettos maybe add a cute purse to go with it. Heading out with the boy? Grab a short sleeve shirt with the pants and a fresh pair of sneaks plus an icy chain to add a bit of bling.
Varsity jackets have always been, to me, a cool way
of keeping warm and since this season we are going to need as many jackets as we
can get, I think you should at least have one varsity jacket. Plus gone are the days' Varsity jackets were street-style staples only, now you can shrug it over a sexy silk cowl dress and
look like the coolest baddie there is.
I love this coat because you get to look polished while swimming in comfort. Whether it is oversized or cropped, this is a cute coat you need to have in your closet because it can be styled to your preference. I would literally wear it every day to my classes if I could but I don’t own one...YET!
10. Sweater Dress
You obviously need a cute dress that will not only hug your curves but keep you warm and that’s why you have this super sexy long-sleeved sweater dress. Serve curves on date night with your boo thing in this dress with a pair of high knee boots and a sexy big trenchcoat
