MAKE MONEY

Why Blog About Making Money? Because We All Need a Little Extra Cash

Let me paint the picture: It’s 2020, the world has shut down, and I’m sitting at home with too much time and not enough money. Naturally, I did what every ambitious, slightly panicked, broke person does—I Googled, “How to make money online.” And that was the rabbit hole that introduced me to blogging, dropshipping, print on demand, affiliate marketing, and every other hustle under the sun.

At first, it was overwhelming (seriously, who knew there were so many side hustles?), but then it got fascinating. I started experimenting—one day trying to sell mugs with inspirational quotes, the next plotting the best way to create content that people would actually read. And while I didn’t get rich overnight (spoiler: no one does), I learned a lot. Like, A LOT.

Why Focus on Uganda?

Here’s the thing: during all that researching, I noticed something—there weren’t many Ugandan voices in the mix. Sure, there were gurus from all over the world telling you how to make dollars from your laptop, but very few of them understood the context of being a student in Uganda, juggling tuition, Airtime data costs, and the occasional Rolex.

Meanwhile, at university, I saw my peers hustling to survive, trying to scrape together enough cash for lunch or transport. And it hit me: this knowledge needs to be shared. If I could figure out a thing or two about making money online, why not share it and empower others to do the same?

Making Money Online Is for Everyone

This blog is my way of saying, “Hey, you can do this too.” Whether you’re a student trying to cover your daily expenses or just someone looking for a way to make life a little more comfortable, I want to show you what’s possible. From monetizing your skills to starting your own side hustle, the internet is bursting with opportunities—you just need a guide to get started.

Let’s Learn and Grow Together

This isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme (trust me, I’ve tried those—they don’t work). It’s about sharing honest, practical tips and strategies that actually make sense for Ugandans. Whether it’s starting your own print-on-demand store, earning through affiliate marketing, or even building your personal brand, I’m here to help.

So stick around! Let’s figure out this money-making journey together. Got questions, tips, or success stories? Drop a comment—I’d love to hear from you. We’re all just trying to make a little extra cash to make life a bit sweeter, and if we can do it together, even better.

Stay hustling,
Clara
