Why Fashion? A Love Story That Started in Primary School

Fashion has been my day-one love. I’m talking way back—like primary school days—when I would spend hours sketching dresses, cutting up old clothes (to my mom’s horror), and dreaming of seeing my designs on a runway. My pencil case? Full of crayons and markers, not just for homework but for coloring my next big fashion idea. While some siblings were playing tag, I was designing outfits for imaginary fashion shows.

By the time I got to high school, the dream was alive and well. I chose to pursue art because, duh, fashion school was next. My notebooks were more fabric patterns than physics equations, and every project was somehow fashion-adjacent (sorry, teachers). But life had other plans, and though I didn’t go to fashion school, I never let go of that little girl’s dream.

Keeping the Passion Alive

Enter this blog: my digital closet. Sure, I’m not designing for Paris Fashion Week yet, but I’ve found other ways to channel my passion. Writing about trends? Count me in. Creating shopping guides for you to slay on a budget? Love it. Using my blog to share my opinion on what’s hot (and what’s not)? Obsessed.
